There's nothing like an evening kayak when the waves are rolling and you can watch a storm in the background. Sunlight peaking out of the clouds to the south, and rain directly west. The marvels of mother nature at work !!
Storm watching at Sweetwater Shores
Well I got inspired this morning and my son and I went out on adventure to find 10 things each that had a splash of colour !! Here's a few of what we came up with ;)
Going for a walk along the coast this morning, always such a beautiful walk surrounded by Nature ... Blue sky, crystal clear water, green trees and grass .... sun shining.
This morning I couldn't help but be captivated by the bright red tug on the river. It must be freshly painted, and surrounded by such beautiful, earthy colours, it just POPPED.
Nothing like a POP of colour to inspire a photo shoot .. gonna take my camera out this afternoon and look for more wonderful images !!
Since I had to be in the city for a week .. at least I got to enjoy some fun with my son and his team. Roller Hockey is a very civilized and relaxed version of hockey ... Warm rinks, shorts and t-shirts, and lots of fun!! No crazy parents screaming to pass the puck, no crazy coaches telling the kids to get onside .. just 4 on 4 high speed hockey.
We had the privilege to play on the big ice at Hershey Centre where the pro's usually play ... 3 wins so far .. and lots of opportunity to take some fun and awesome 'soRoller' pictures !!!
After spending the last 5 days back in the city for work I now look back on this photo and remember why I enjoy the cottage so much during the summer months. Cool breezes, great sunsets, great friends, lots of water and always something to photograph !!
Nothing seeing your BFF after a week away. Nice casual walk and hang in Port Credit for an afternoon before going off to camp again.
